TRANSMISSIONS is an infrequent ambient, electroacoustic, experimental mix series by Berlin artist, curator, dj and graphic designer Jenus Baumecker for AGEMOWOROS – one hour of sound, colour, field and wave layering textures from the 1960’s to current underground, avant-garde, pop, folk and drone infused experimental ambient works, gently mixed from from the opposite direction.

„Despite what some people might think, goodbyes are very hard for me and I‘m actually very slow and not very good at saying goodbye even though I do turn some sharp corners sometimes. These thoughts were going through my head when I recorded this mix, it’s a mix about letting go. It‘s also about holding on and wanting to stay together. I often think about the many people I have met in my life, too many never to be seen again after our last goodbyes. This is about the memories of moments of joy shared and also the big disappointments and losses followed by feelings of emptiness in tandem with sweet reminders and new beginnings. It‘s a slow and varied mix, probably more suited for home listening and hence a transmissions radio mix. I hope you‘ll enjoy sharing this intimate journey with me, music is a language. Thanks to all the wonderful artists that created these songs and sounds.“
